As a chartered building surveyor, I had a closer than usual interest in the work required and advice that John gave which resulted in an exceptionally detailed and careful repair of the frame, removing decay and non-compatible repairs undertaken during the mid 1980's conversion to a home and before when it was a part of working farm."
